New R11S Driver - Faster, Longer and More Tunable Than Ever The TaylorMade R11S Driver is TaylorMade's most technologically advanced driver to date, showcasing the latest innovation, adjustability and performance.

 

The TaylorMade R11S Driver is faster, longer and more tunable than ever. This is achieved by adjusting the loft up or down (±1.5°) with Flight Control Technology (FCT) and adjusting the face to one of five angles (±3°) with Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) Technology. Movable Weight Technology allows the center of gravity to be moved toward the heel or toe and a maximum-sized 460cc titanium head with Thick-Thin Crown design lowers that center of gravity. Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) promotes more ball speed on off-center hits and the white crown and black face makes alignment easy and eliminates glare on top.

 

 

The R11S includes two Movable Weight Technology cartridges weighing 10g and 1g. They can be interchanged to create a draw bias or neutral ball flight. Changing the weights alters the centre of gravity by 4mm from heel to toe promoting up to 20 yards of side-to-side bias.

The TaylorMade R11S Driver is further enchanced by TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology that expands the COR zone, or the portion of the club that delivers faster ball speeds. The R11S measures 45.75" and comes equipped with an Aldila RIP Phenom 60g shaft.

 

 

Features:

• - The sole of the club is designed for better surface transfers because TMAG says that on the downswing air flow travels from the heel to toe.  Making these area more aerodynamic will improve speed.  The transition from face to crown has also been tweeked for better flow.
•  -Like every TaylorMade driver since the R500 Series (launched in 2002), the R11S incorporates TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone clubface technology, which dramatically expands the COR zone, which is the portion of the clubface that delivers maximum ball speed.
•  - Thick, Thin Crown- a new casting process allows the crown to be more responsive and able to move weight where it can be used for to increase ball speed.
•  - The CG is moved further apart and closer to the face to improve ball speed
